There are many issues currently occupying the media’s attention as well as the public’s, from whether or not we should allow Syrian refugees into the country to whether or not we should deport immigrants back. The Logan Square Neighborhood Association (LSNA) is seeing an opportunity since the Supreme Court ruled that it would consider the case against immigrant deportation.

For about two months now, members of the committee such as Monica Soto-Espinoza have been educating other members on their rights as immigrants and how they can go about becoming legal and their fight still continues. What are your thoughts on the issue?

Logan Squarist’s goal is to bring locals together to talk about developments and issues within the neighborhood. They meet every third Wednesday of the month and anyone can join, even those who are just interested in what is happening within the neighborhood even if they don’t live in it.
