Chicago Park District Officials have announced that most outdoor ice rinks will be closing by Monday, February 29th. However, even during the meantime the rinks will only be operating if the weather permits, considering we are expecting warmer days over the weekend which would make the city’s eight outdoor rinks unsafe.
If you aren’t ready for the fun to be over just yet, there is still Millennium Park’s ice rink which doesn’t officially close until March 6th. And don’t forget about the city’s indoor rinks at McFetridge Ice Rink and Morgan Park Sports Center.
