Opera-Matic, which consists of artists that bring the visual arts to public places, will be organizing the”The Joyful Passage,” this weekend. The Joyful Passage, suitably named after the city’s Safe Passage program which provide safe routes for kids heading to and from school, is an event to celebrate the many wonders and beauty of Humboldt Park.
The Humboldt Park Neighborhood Children’s Choir will start the event off at 7:30pm tonight and is expected to end at 9pm. The serenade will spread it’s appreciation for the beauty of the park itself but also to the people that maintain it and keep it going through animation and singing .
