There seems to be a lot of news about churches lately, whether it is regarding their demolition or converting them into condos. The latest news is about the 106-year-old church building at 3325 W. Wrightwood. Grace Church seems to have quite a bit of work that needs to be done since maintenance fell a tad behind when the congregation shrunk.
Reverand Mark Schol told DNAinfo’s Paul Biasco in this article about how the boiler room is basically on its last leg and how there is water damage in the church. One of the options for a second life for the church would be to demolish the it and erect a 30 to 40-unit building that would still include a piece of the church as a sanctuary.
What would you like to see done with the space?
