Being able to search the market for homes online is pretty convenient. You know what would make that deal even sweeter? You got it, being able to click on your TV and searching for homes from there. Electrik Eye Enterprises has launched MoveTube, proclaimed “the world’s only interactive property search channel built exclusively for televisions.”
The browsing property channel will be available through a device known as Roku 3, which has capabilities to stream Web content on TVs from platforms like Netflix and YouTube.
The TV destination for browsing will have the same features that you can find when searching for homes online in which you can access photos, agent/lender info and property data to name just a few.
The name MoveTube would not be a play off of Youtube if it didn’t provide videos. They will also provide a daily show targeted to educate people on real estate issues and will be hosted by Brian Stevens (VP of Electrik) and Frank Garay (chief financial officer).
I think that real estate just got a whole lot more interesting.
