The 606 Trail has been in the works for what seems like forever for people who have been following the news of the old rail line to be converted into a trail were unveiled (bout a decade in the making, to be exact).
The 606 was finally opened early June and if you haven’t been keeping up with the buzz online and on the news, it is a major hit! The 2.7-mile run stretches through Logan Square, Bucktown, Humboldt Park, and Wicker Park and is not only bike and jogging friendly, but all around people friendly. The infamous trail seems to be attracting people from all over the city to visit what will definitely become one of Chicago’s most beloved spots in town.
