I just went to Colectivo for the first time and it definitely won’t be my last. I had a 230p meeting and it was pretty packed but we were able to get a seat. The guy at the counter was very friendly and helped me pick the perfect drink for me. I had the Matcha Latte and it was amazing, exactly what I needed to get through the rest of the day with a pep in my step. They also had a fire pit outside, so I will be going back to try that scene out once there isn’t snow on the ground.Read more about the joint here.
La Boulangerie Returns to Logan Square

Caffe Umbria Opens in Logan Square
We have often heard people say that Seattle has the best coffee in the country. Now we can experience a bit of it in the city! Aside from their location in River North, according to this article in Chicago Magazine, Seattle-based coffee maker Caffe Umbria has taken over a 9,000-square-foot space in Logan Square at 2545 W. Armitage.

Cafe Focused on Chai to Open in Logan Square
Chiya Chai Cafe which will specialize in–you guessed it–chai, is set to open in mid-May at 2770 N. Milwaukee. The Nepalese family who own the cafe will be serving up 15 of their very own specialties of chai as well as some dishes that from various regions where tea is well-loved like India, China and England.
They will also have a booth at the Logan Square Farmers Market for those who can’t wait until May and want to give their chai a shot.

16 Years Later- Lula Cafe Still Wows
Lula Cafe in Logan Square has been open for 16 years, I know! For some reason it seems like that number is unheard of when concerning restaurants since new ones seem to be cropping up every week or so.
When you’re in popular neighborhood like Logan Square, you expect good food and according to Phil Vettel, this little place still has the same charms it stole people’s hearts with back when they first opened.
