As the summer slowly nears, festivals are cropping up all over the city. The 6th annual BBQ Fest at Six Corners will be hitting Milwaukee Avenue along the intersections of Irving Park and Cicero very soon too. The fest will be offering up chicken, beef, ribs and sausage and will also have live cover bands there to serenade you as you eat, arts and crafts to keep the kids busy, and pro-wrestling shows.
It will run from June 18-19 and the $5 donation requested at the entrance will go on to support arts initiative and neighborhood beautification. Read more about this story and their programming here by Heather Cherone.
