The Shambles located at 2050 W. Division in Wicker Park has been closed since March 21 due to renovation plans. The bar/restaurant is in the process of expanding not only in size, but hopes to add more seating to accompany their new family-friendly seafood concept, according to this DNAinfo article by Alisa Hauser.
They are also in the midst of getting a zoning change which will allow them to have a tavern license, since they expect most of their business to come from alcohol sales instead of food.
